Particularly in view of Wenger's complaint about having to play away after an international break, I can't believe he'd have failed to molly-coddle them regarding their travel. My man of the match was Da Silva, I thought he was exceptional throughout - he was snuffing out danger before the danger was even apparent. Shame on me, as an Irishman, but I never saw Roy Keane in Manchester United's red. I watched him many times for Ireland, though, and I can say that Cana reminds me of him. One tackle raises the crowd decibels for five minutes, which in turn lifts the performance of the team. Exemplary stuff from a captain. Really liked Bent, too. It's impossible to measure his performance from television pictures. His work-rate was immense, and right across the back four the Arsenal players couldn't settle in possession in the knowledge that he would be snapping at their heels.
