Sorry I do believe he went in maliciously Gordon has the ball in his hands and he is two steps away. He delays and changes pace to catch Gordon rather than stepping over him and keeping his stride. Watch it on SAFC TV 5.45 on the game highlights, IT’S BLATANT!!

I don’t believe he went in maliciously but you have to do so to commit a serious foul. It was reckless and deserved punishment.

After close scrutiny of ‘The Defoe Incident’ it appears he tried to stamp on Gordons arm with his first foot and kick him with his second. Unfortunately for Craig he missed with the stamping foot which fell infront of Gordons arm and as the second ‘kicking leg’ came through forcing his arm forward which was stopped at one end by his body and the other by Defoes other foot and SNAP!!

Poisoned Dwarf Defoe knew exactly what he was doing by raking his foot against Gordon,Ref didnt have the bottle .Home ref if ever i saw one…surprised at him giving us a penalty mind we absolutely battered them…..

Yeah he should have left his foot in like that nasty piece of work Defoe and broke Gomes’ arm. That way we would had had him off the pitch for definate and still got the penalty!

Maybe because DB is a nice bloke he didn’t want to cause Gomes or himself any injury?
