His comment regarding Sunderland playing " ..on the fringes of the rule.." illuminates the failure on his part to accept reality - presumably due to his 'Arsèspecs' (the ones which don't see his players diving or feigning injury either). The game on Saturday was punctuated by 21 fouls, 11 of which were committed by his team - not on the fringes of the rules - against the rules. His team were dirtier than ours. You could sense the frustration that he could not use his pre-rehearsed diatribe against a negative Sunderland team, kicking his players for 90 minutes. Sunderland just didn't play like that.
